Information pursuant to Article 13 of Legislative Decree No. 196 of June 30, 2003

 

Legislative Decree No. 196 of June 30, 2003, provides for the protection of individuals and other subjects regarding the processing of personal data. According to this regulation, data processing will be carried out in compliance with the principles of fairness, lawfulness, relevance, and transparency, while safeguarding the privacy and rights of the data subject as required by law.

 

1. Purpose and methods of data processing

1.1. Browsing data

The IT systems responsible for the operation of the website scolytinaehostsdatabase.eu automatically acquire, in their daily operation, certain personal data that are implicitly transmitted when using web communication protocols. These are data that, if processed together with data held by third parties, could identify users/visitors. This includes, for example, IP addresses and domain names of the computers used by users/visitors connecting to scolytinaehostsdatabase.eu. It will include, in compliance with the limits and conditions set forth in Article 11 of Legislative Decree 196/03, all operations or sets of operations indicated in Article 4, paragraph 1, letter a) of Legislative Decree 196/03: collection, recording, organization, storage, consultation, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, blocking, communication, deletion, and destruction of data.

 

2. Data communication and disclosure

The collected data will not be disclosed or communicated to third parties, except in cases provided for by this notice and/or by law, and in any case, only in the manners permitted by law. The data may be accessed by data processors or persons in charge of processing, within the scope of their respective functions and in accordance with the instructions received, solely for achieving the specific purposes outlined in this notice.

 

3. Data subject's rights

Regarding these data, individuals may exercise the rights provided for in Article 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, within the limits and under the conditions set forth in Articles 8, 9, and 10 of the aforementioned legislative decree, by sending an email to scolytinae.communications@gmail.com
